As an first year med student, I have searched high and low for tools that will help me handle and organize the workload thrown at me in medical school. This app really helps me do this. Many people told me, when I started my first year that my previous study methods just wouldn’t cut it for med school. Now I think they were only partially correct; if you can figure out how to organize your study material such that you are able to obtain and maintain the repetition of concepts, you will succeed. Osmosis helps me do this. From pushing flashcards to my phone, to constructing a timeline of all my coursework, to suggesting resources (videos, picmonic, etc.), it takes a lot of the organization work off my shoulders. My lecture content is always accessible, even if I don’t have my personal laptop with me. It is a very powerful and comprehensive tool. Best of all, the support staff is amazing! They are incredibly accessible and always open to suggestions. They have rolled out many improvements, even in the short time I have been using it. I would highly recommend anyone give it a try.
